Foxface fish

No is the main answer I got while researching this because I wanted to add a bi color to my one spot. Based on their reported aggression and them being venomous and using their spines to hurt eachother I decided to skip adding the bi color. The risk was just too high based on everything I read and heard about them

Can you mix foxface fish?
You can, but there is a chance for aggression, so it should be done carefully with options to rehome if there is aggression.

It is probably still best advice not to try it unless you have good rehoming options if aggression shows up. I have several saltwater tanks running right now that I can move the foxfaces to if they become aggressive, but they seem fairly settled with fellow tank mates.

So @Soren keeps multiple Foxface in one tank successfully. It all depends on the tank size and the Foxfaces you end up with.

Yes, I currently have the following together:
In 75g temporary tank #1: 2 bicolor foxfaces (~5.5") and 1 onespot foxface (~5.5")
In 75g temporary tank #2: 2 bicolor foxfaces (~6")
In 40g quarantine: 2 bicolor foxfaces (~4")
In 40g work desk tank: 2 onespot foxfaces (~3")

All of these were added to each tank in a pair at the same time except the first mentioned onespot foxface that was added to the 75g tank a while after the initial pair of bicolor foxfaces were long settled in the tank.
All of these occasionally nip at each other, but are completely peaceful most of the time.
None of these have been sexed and the random chance of 4 random pairings ending up with one male and one female each is very slim, so I think it is possible to keep foxfaces of the same sex together. I would still recommend adding them to the tank at the same time or having a good plan for watching for aggression and separating them as needed if you want to try to add more after the first one(s).

At one point, I tried adding my first pair of bicolor foxfaces in with the second pair in the second 75g temporary tank and the established pair chased and attacked the second pair, so I separated them and have had no aggression since then within either pair.

Oh wow! He has a bi color and one spot like I wanted to do! Cool!
Foxface rabbitfish are my favorite fish. Bicolors are my top favorite with onespots as a close second favorite.

I believe you can with the right combo of genders but they’re impossible to sex so…
I would be thrilled to determine the sexes of mine as I would like to know how this plays into the very minimal aggression with my 4 random pairings. Did I end up with some male/female pairs? If they are both males or both females in a pair, would the sex make a difference on aggression levels? Though I wish I could answer these questions some day, I'm at least happy that my pairings have worked out with such low aggression when the foxfaces were around the same size in each pair and added to the tank as a pair at the same time.
