I see these frequently on rabbitfish and is likely caused by injury which becomes an abscess. It generally heals on its own without treatment and the growth reduces over days. What you can do to assure healing to is to provide pristine water quality and offer foods adding vitamin supplement such as selcon to the food.
Some foods to offer are :
LRS herbivore diet
TDO Pellets
small plankton
spirulina brine shrimp
mysis shrimp
Prime reef
Chopped Krill
