So I just got a 90 gallon cube. For fish I already have two clownfish, two yellow tailed blue damsels, and two peppermint shrimp. The cube is 29 x 29 x 25. I saw a video where someone had a foxface in a 90 gallon cube. Can I keep a foxface in my cube long term? I do intend to get a mandarin, more yellow tailed blue damsels, and possibly a wrasse. I also want more peppermint shrimp, some cleaner shrimp, large feather dusters, and clams without a doubt. Thank you.

I wouldn’t say you can keep it in there long term. They get about 9ish inches and 29inch tank just isn’t enough for them to swim around. I would say it’s best when they have a 4ft tank to be able to have more distance to swim. Although it is possible to have one in a 29inch cube short term, I would say not long term.

I wouldn’t be willing to keep a full sized foxface in a tank with those dimensions. They are not the most active swimmers but just under 2.5 feet is not enough length in my opinion.
