Had him colse to 3 weeks no matter what I do I cannot get the poor guy to eat and is very thin and starting to swim weak. Has been in cp and for possible velvet for two weeks along with a tusk.

I have tried everything to get it to eat. My gf brought an infant feeding tube home form work today so i think im going to try force feeding him with some food soaked in General cure to see if he has some really stubborn internal parasites. anything else i should mix in? What is something that would give it a quick burst of energy?

Before i try this anyone have any more suggestions to try to get this guy to eat? Should i dip him in anything? I believe the fish is on the last leg but it's my gf favorite fish so i have to try everything.

I have a really picky one in QT right now. Mine will go for nori rubber banded to a rock on the bottom. He will pick at small pellets. He is not interested in frozen mysis,. He will not eat if I am watching him.

Well i just feed it,fw dipped it and gave it a bath in reef rally its still alive so we see how it goes. I gut loaded him with some gc along with aboit 2ml of high protein and vitamin rich food. So hopefully it gives him a bust of energy to get over what ever is going on with it.

At what level do you have your Chloroquine phosphate ? To high of levels have been known to cause appetite suppression and lathsrgy.

I believe i have about 1.7 grams of cp in a 40b. If my math is correct i shood be around 40-50 range.

If the CP was pure it's been in there long enough if moved directly to a sterile tank. Do you have another tank you could get it in? You could then treat with Metro or antibiotics if needed without further piling into medication soup as well.

I tube feed him twice now and he is looking a bit better i think. No i do not have another tank that's not in ues... allrady have 2 fish qt and 1 invert qt....gf said more tanks.

Just saw him poop for the frist time and its very stringy and White. I'm thinking the GC i mixed in with the force feeding is clearing his gut out.
At this point I'm not sure what else i can do for it be see how it does.

He is starting to look a bit better as far as his swimming and depth keeping is going. Still refusing to eat anything but he went form laying on it's side to at least he is back to swimming.

This is the tube i have been uesing seems to work ok. Any idea how much food i should be uesing for a 4in foxface? Been using about 2ml of food once a night.
