I have a foxface that I got from my LFS that they had in their frag tank for several months. I know that they can pick on coral if not fed well. I was feeding 2 cubes and 1 square of seaweed daily. The LFS said I was feeding too much so now I do 1 cube and the seaweed (about 1x2 inch). Stock is 1 rabbit foxface, scopas tang, 2 oc clowns, 3 fire fish, 2 blue green chromis and a coral beauty angel. At first I was watching the angel but it seems to be ok so far. Am I feeding enough, too much? Is there any ideas to stop him, I don't want to get rid of him. Suggestions

What were your nitrates and what are they now? Like why did they say to feed less. 1 cube of mysis isn’t much for a tang and a foxface alone.

0.5 to 20 depending on the test kit I run bio pellets because my macro algae kept drying. The lfs said it was 40???

While I do not have any corals yet, I feed my Foxface and a Coral Beauty about two 3" squares of seaweed a day and feed the tank Mysis mixed with brine shrimp and krill in the morning and flake food at night. There are also two Bangaii Cardinals and two Oscelaris Clowns and they eat everything I give them and beg for more. These are all in a 45 gallon QT currently and I do a water change about once every other week and my water conditions are fine. Don't let others tell you how much is too much, let your fish tell you. :)

Gotcha. 20 isnt to bad. I’d be happy with that. 40 is pretty high but not horrible. Maybe try 2 cubes every other day and 1 cube the off days. If your nitrates are still fairly low go 2 cubes, then 3 cubes once they grow lol.
I feed 8-10 cubes a day in my 90 gal. It all is eaten in 10 seconds. It’s wild. Only 10 nitrate 0.03 phos.
