My foxface has a single large white dot on his side. It is probably slightly smaller than a bb. It looks like a giant pimple except the skin is slightly depressed around it. He also looks somewhat bloated but other than that no other visual signs of illness. Any ideas? I'll try and get some pictures when I get home.

@Humblefish @melypr1985 @ngoodermuth haven’t we seen this before? Did anyone ever figure out what it is or how to get rid of it?
Being it's singular, my best guess is that's excess mucous forming around a cut/abrasion. It should self heal; although soaking vitamins in his food can't hurt: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/vitamins-herbal-remedies.304287/

Good to hear. I usually soak LRS in selcon and vitachem once a week. I also picked up some fish oil to start using. How effective are those food soaks with frozen food? Is there a general soaking time to be followed?
Frozen or pellet food tends to absorb better; however using a binder will greatly reduce the amount which just leaches out into the water: http://www.seachem.com/focus.php
