Hi I’ve had my fox face for about a month. He is very active and eats plenty of food and nori. I noticed today that he has a large spot on his side that is slightly pale. What should I do??

Spots can be caused from anything. Can you get a picture? Many heal and go away after a few days.
Common causes of a spot:
Coral sting (Hammer, Torch, Frogspawn, anemone)
Other fish aggression
Shy fox face that hides and gets stuck, then getting unstuck injures it's self.. Yes, Mine did this.

Do you have anything in your tank that fits those questions above?

It’s a very slight

It’s a very slight change in color. It’s kinda splotchy on its mid section. He is hiding so it doesn’t show on camera. I don’t have any corals and my fish get along well. Our ph is 8.0 could that be causing him stress??

PH is great, fox faces sheds off skin, mine will turn a little pale in color before he sheds

I’ve had mine for about 6+ months. He’s Been a faint yellow for about 3 months now but is extremely healthy. I think as long as it’s eating and is active you’re fine.
