When I came home today from the store, I noticed that my Foxface was at the top of the water leaning against the overflow box. I didn’t notice this before I went to the store, probably because the light wasn’t on yet. Anyways, as I look at it closer, I notice that it’s stomach seems to be bloated (possibly linked to swim bladder?). It has been previously eating before today, however, looking back, I did notice the Foxface would stay closer to the top of the water during the last few weeks but would always swim around like normal anytime I was near the tank . Everything else in the tank seems to be doing well. Some other tank inhabitants would be a Mandarin, 2 pairs of clownfish (one pair is in the refugium until I get my other tank set up) a Yellow Tailed Damsel, a serpent starfish, and a lot of hermits.
Any help/ ideas on what could be wrong would be great. Thanks!

It’s currently jammed between the overflow box and the back glass. I’m pretty sure that’s where it’s comfortable at because I moved it, took the first picture, and it went right back.

I would like to say that my fox face loves to swim near surface and blow bubbles. He also will hide like that when startled or agitated. He also sleeps in areas like that as well. It may b something else entirely?

Yeah, there’s definitely something off. I forgot to mention that I’ve had it for over a year and this is the first time I’ve noticed these behaviors. It also appears to have trouble breathing.

The swollen belly is troubling. Could be constipation or internal parasites. So first, I'd hope for the constipation and try feeding the fish some boiled peas with the skins removed. And or adding a pinch of plain USP epsom salts + food + Focus, and hope for a good reaction.

Ok, I’ll definitely try that. Might be hard to get him to eat since he hasn’t really ate all day but let’s hope for the best. Thanks!

Looks like internal parasites to me. Bloat I would think would be lower in the abdomen.

Follow @Big G's recommendation and let's how for the best.
