Foxface struggling

Foxface been in quarantine since it arrived 2 days ago. Acting very lethargic and not eating. I have a coral beauty and powder brown tang in the same qt tank and they are doing well. Any ideas? Ammonia is zero and I do daily water changes on my qt tank. Should I do a freshwater bath or will that add too much stress?

Does the tank have good aeration? If so, then it sounds like the fish had some issue from before you got it. You could try a FW dip to see if flukes drop off and to provide some temporary relief if it is velvet. However, if the fish is too ill, and is dying, the FW dip will speed up that process. You’ll want to get a copper treatment started to protect the other fish, followed by prazipro.
