Hi, I put my foxface in qt for ich a week ago. He is being treated with cupramine. He has not been eating. Last night he began twirling and having difficulty swimming. This morning he is still twirling constantly. Is this a swim bladder issue? Anything I can do for him. I did a large water change last night.

What is your copper level?

What test kit are you using?

Copper level is almost nothing right now removed most of it. I did 50 percent water change. Api test kit. It was .25 -.50. Very hard to read on api.

Yeah, it's recommended to use the seachem test kit with cupramine it's much easier to read lower levels.

Did his symptoms change at all after the WC?

Unfortunately not. He is twirling non stop. I thought it was from current, but I shut of filter and he still does it.

Could be a swim bladder problem. Is he still eating? You can try food soaking metronidazole and a broad spectrum ABX such as kanamycin to address a possible bladder infection.

He lived through the night. I woke up and still twirling. He must have done it all night.
