I did a water change today, but none of the fish spooked. Just went down to check on the tank and saw a small sore on my beloved foxface. Any ideas? He is acting just fine.

That appears to be a minor puncture wound/injury. There are not any contagious fish parasites that cause bumps like that, and the fish isn't showing any secondary symptoms. The spot is not directly above any vital organs, just muscle tissue, so it is unlikely to develop into a serious issue.

That said, I can't tell you what happened - the two most common causes of this are sea urchin spines or the scalpel from another tang.

Thank you, it looks better this morning. The main reason I was worried is I have no tangs or urchin. Nothing I can think of capable of the wound.
