Noticed these spots today, last known well was two days ago, no spots. No new fish in months. Added new dry rock on 2/20/19 and it came from a disease-less tank. I had a Blenny and Goby that "mysteriously" died off over the last few months. My Royal Gramma has had gray patches and lethargy the last couple weeks but not the same symptoms as my foxface.

Yes! I got him out and now he's in QT. Letting him chill and I'll see if they're gone.

Did you find any sesame seed sized objects on the bottom of the container after the FW dip?

They appear raised. After the FW dip and a couple days in QT it seems to be doing fine and a few have cleared up.

So the FW dip seems to have lifted a few of them off of your beautiful fish. The FW dip buys you some treatment time before they cycle and return. The question remains whether it has been attacked by flukes or black ich (turbellarins - flat worms). The treatment for both is Prazipro. Best of luck. Let us know how the fish does.

Ok good. Thanks for the help, I have prazipro on hand. You guys DONT think it's regular Ich then?

Also, can I use Prazipro with copper? I dosed thinking it was Ich because I didn't want to take any chances.

Yes you can. But it's real important to add some O2 when dosing Prazipro. There's a chemical in it called Oxybispropanol that helps keep the praziquantel in solution. The Oxybis, uses/absorbs some of the O2 out of the water. Sometimes it can effect fish negatively. So we recommend you consider adding additional O2 by using a powerhead aimed up at the surface actively rippling the water surface. I do it and I also use a foam bubble filter with the foam pad soaked in my DT sump or soaked with Biospira, etc. to help with the bio filter in the QT. Works great.
