Foxface, Yes or No?

I am wondering if anyone thinks I can be successful keeping any type of foxface rabbit fish in my 100 gallon tank. The tank dimensions are 48L x 18W x 26h. I’m not sure how many pounds of live rock I have but there are many nooks and crannies for fish to hide. As of right now I have:

-Chalk bass
-Forktail blenny
-Blue spotted goby
-Pygmy angel
-Flame hawk fish

We are planning on adding a Scopas Tang and a few anthias. Our LFS is on the fence so I figured I’d ask what everyone else thinks. If people are worried about the final size of the fish being in a 100 gallon tank, we do have a 125 gallon fish only tank it could be moved into when it is fully grown. Hopefully the photos help give any ideas and all opinions are welcome. Thank you in advance!

After my copperband, my foxface is my second favorite fish. Had for over a year and half now in my 90 gallon. Great community fish that always seems to get along with everyone, including other tangs. One day in the future, I might to rehome but great overall fish. Buy a small one if you can.

I got my Foxface first, then added an Orange Shoulder Tang, Sohal Tang, and Sailfin Tang. Keep them well fed and they get along great.

I have a large fox face that I've had since it was around an inch and a half. I love it but since it is the largest fish or actually became pretty aggressive to other fish of similar sizes. He also developed a taste for meaty corals and one week when I was on vacation he ate about $700 worth of corals. So they are beautiful and awesome fish but they can get a taste for corals

I’ve done it the other way round. A sting or two from them spines and the tangs learn, quick.

I've had my one spot foxface in my 6' 125 for about 5 years now. He lives peacefully with 3 tangs and other smaller fish. For the first several months, he was nervous and reclusive. Since then, he's been outgoing and is the first to the dinner table. He even gives my fingers gentle pecks at dinner time. I've never had an issue with him bothering corals, but I'm a big proponent of the heavy in - heavy out approach to nutrition, so he stays well fed. In my completely unqualified opinion, a foxface would be fine in a tank your size. I'm sure there are those who will disagree.

I have a onespot in a 210g, and I think they are a pretty big fish for your tank dimensions. Although they don't really take up alot of real estate, their size can be visually overwhelming for a 4' tank, unless that's what you are looking for. I have 13 venomous fish and my foxface is the only one that stings other fish. He has fubared my orange shoulder and flagfin angel, more than once. He likely will pay your other fish no mind. I can't speak for corals.

Despite all that there's no way I can ever get rid of him. He eats out of my hand and he lets me pet him

The various fox face / rabbit fish have very different adult sizes! Be sure to be looking at the species you want when you look up their potential maximum size and likely maximum size in a captive environment.

Magnificent is the one I like too but I have stayed away as they do not seem to come in small and seem to grow larger than a one spot or perhaps its just that they are already often big when collected that they end up bigger than a one spot grown out in captivity (which can be found collected very small at times).

Foxfaces in their matute years get extremely far-sighted and mistake some green coral that they normally wouldn't eat, and nip on it thinking it's some kind of green algae
