I have some coral frags which were secured to frag discs, presumably using reef glue but no idea what type.

Is there a conman and easy way to remove it from the discs?

I’ve always just used a pair of side cutters. Basically wire cutters

Depending on the frag plug or disc I usually try to leave the coral on the plug and remove the post. I like to glue that to my rocks. If I even need to remove or move the coral I can pop the plug without damaging/stressing the coral. But some cone on weird marble looking discs which i hate lol. I use a pair of dykes, or angle bone cutters to pop the glue.

I've never removed frags from the frag plug but depending on the frag location if the disc is going to be obtrusive I'll remove as much of the disc as I can with bone cutters, just chipping away at the edges until all that's left is the frag. I remove the post and use putty and glue to secure it to the rock.
I'll leave the frag intact if it's going to be glued down to a flat location like shelf type rocks.
