Not the best pic.
I'm debating just trying to frag it onto a couple things and then just throwing away any that show signs. Or just plain throwing it, unless anyone has other ideas.

Omg it went so badly lol. I went to scrape where I think it was and the rock broke off of the frag plug. So then I try to super glue it back on, but I didnt buy the gel kind, so I had to put it on very thick and then the frag fell into glue upside down. I got glue on some of it so I try it pick it off and it falls apart in half. So now half of it is glued to the plug, and half of it I glued to a small rock in the tank. Hopefully one of them opens and not with the thing I was trying to kill sigh.;Nailbiting

I've done the same. More times than I care to admit, lol. Hopefully, a few polyps will pull through this and you still get a colony out of it:)

I always remove zoas from the original frag/rock and move them onto a small dry rock on top of a fresh plug. It's the maximum possible thing you can do to avoid unwanted organisms. You never know where on that frag there's more aiptasia tissue waiting to sprout into a full grown one.

Zoas are super easy to get off with a scalpel. Once you get under the connecting tissue they just peel off. Just take precaution. Tiny amount of super glue will help them hold on to their new home.
