Frag or Standard Reef

I'm starting the plan for a new tank. Limited to 36" length, width and height are a bit more variable. Thinking this will be primarily a coral display - swimmers and crawlers in there primarily for cleanup and pest control.

What are the pros and cons for going for a shorter frag display over a more traditional reef height tank?

Less maintenance, your arms don’t get as wet… If you don’t gave a lot of fish you really don’t need the height to dissuade potential jumpers.
