I have many SPS frags that I want to place on my rocks but don’t want to use putty in case I need to move them to a different location (due to too much par hence the spotting). I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on how to place them so they will hold?

my rock isn’t pre drilled with wholes which would have been nice

thanks

You can use the putty or superglue/coral glue. I find I can dislodge either as long as I don't encrust too much of the frag with putty.

PS - is Superior Dairy still in town? I used to have a client in Hanford in the early 90s and that place had the best milk shakes:)

Might be a case where I would use expoxy, it’s easy to break off.
Just watch your skimmer if you use epoxy, some brands make skimmers overflow for days. Just turn it off for 24 hours, then restart, watch to see if it overflows.

May be the putty you were thinking about. See link. Good luck

This brand is good but, will make your skimmer go nuts for up to a week, depending on how much used in one go.

It will not cause any problems.

I use it so not saying bad by any means, just keep an eye on skimmer after use so it does not overflow.

I think most two part epoxy do this.
