Frag plugs......good deal ?

Go to Lowe's and get the 12 x 12 sheet of 1 inch tiles. They come glued to a piece of heavy paper and a sheet of gauze. Pull the backing gauze off and put them a pot of boiling water. While they're boiling stir them. The scrubbing together while they're boiling will get the paper off. Rinse well and you have 144 fraging tiles for about $7 and 30 minutes of work. I do two sheets at a time.

Great idea. Thanks.

But are those tiles safe ? Will the zoa have problem sprouting, since the tile is slippery instead of rocks ?

Of course they're reef safe! I've been using them for two years. Glue your coral to the back side (the rough side) and they will stick. I like them because you can crowd them together in the frag tank because they don't have the peg on the bottom.

I use super glue get from Big Lots, two tubes for $1. Almost any kind of super glue gel will work. The only problem I've had was the big tubes from Big Lots. It was kinda watery and some of the frags came off.

also i got mine from oceans wonders nothing wrong with them

they were the only company that want to deal
