Hello all, I received a sunfire monti frag in the mail today and it had popped loose from the frag plug during shipping. It had been rolling around and rubbing up against stuff for a while and looks brused/browned in areas. Those areas also have a smooth look to them where the rest of the frag exhibits the normal rough surface texture. About 40% of the frag shows this damage. Is there anything extra I should do to ensure this coral makes it through acclimation and settles in nicely?

They should heal but you can bond frag back on plug with gel superglue from dollar store.
Also take pics and send them to shipper ASAP

Preferably but sounds like theyre unpacked
Yep, unpacked and promptly kicked myself for not taking pics. Vendor is TSA and I did inform them. They have taken great care of me in the recent past so I imagine they will again if this frag is too damaged to recover. Based on the pictures I did share with them they think it will recover but did ask me to keep them updated on it.

Most people toss the plug anyway.
Glue to rock or another plug.

Vendor knows the problem if it goes south. Good luck.
