My DT is cycled so I will be doing a water change today.
I'm also setting up my 10 gallon frag QT, will do a fishless cycle on that. I'm wondering if its okay to use the water from the DT to start the frag tank. Nitrates are at 40 ppm but otherwise the DT has stayed really clean, I never turned the lights on.

What happens in your DT will happen in your QT at this point if you use the DT water. Safest and best practices are to start the QT with the DT water only when the DT water is absolutely ready for specimens and is completely stable with parameters in line with what is needed for the life you are planning to keep.

Softie frags from Pacific East 24 hours after dip- all looking good.
