Okay, so I am still very new to this and not sure about myself. When I buy a frag, how do I attach it to the rock that I want to put it on? I have live rock in my reef tank and no coral yet. Everything is ready and seasoned, but I am afraid to buy my first frag since I don't know what to do with it. Any suggestions? I was reading about the lock-tite super glue but it seems to me that the glue would wash off when I put the frag in the water to attach it to the rock. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Curtis

Try supper glue gel----dry bottom of frag---put a good size blob on it---place in tank on rock--- hold in place for about 30 sec.

No need to even glue it if its your first frag. If its on a plug just find a place it fits into the rock and leave it. That way you can move it around easily when you get more coral. If you can't get it to stay on the rock then you can use glue but I wouldn't do it unless you need to

Find a small little crevice in your rock and place the frag there. I did just that and they haven't fallen off

Like stated it has to be the super glue "gel". Ill usually find nooks and crannies and cut a portion of the plug and glue that down.
