I am new to the hobby ( about 4 months) and have a questions about a frag I bought. I recently bought a frag of zoas and also had what I think is a finger leather and either a tree or star polyp, just not sure yet. My question is that I want to take the leather and the tree (or whatever) off the frag and put them on their own frag rock. I don't know who to go about it or even if it an be done without damaging the pieces. Any help would be appreciated. Photo attached. Not very good quality but I hope you get the idea.

I dont see any zoas, so I'm not sure I"m looking at the right thing. I see a leather and a favia on a square plug and behind those is a xenia type coral and in front is a sponge. You could just take your hands and remove the favia as it's most likely just super glued to the square. OR you can take some snips and cut the square in between the two corals there.

OK I said I was new, lol. I stand corrected and thank you. The favia is what I bought the frag for. The leather and the xenia type thing were the ride alongs. I want to remove both the leather and the xenia from the frag without damaging them or the favia. There is a large glob of some type of cement between the square and the favia so I was afraid to try to remove it. Again, thanks for you help and excuse my ignorance. Without asking I would never learn.

That's ok! I thought I just wasn't seeing the zoas. You can probably just break it off the plug. If it makes you feel better then use a wet band saw or snips to cut the tile.
And really, you can take a razor blade to scrape the other two off of it. Use a rubber band to loosely secure them to another rock and they will attach themselves.
