I was bored and remember i have used acrylic in the garage so decided to make frag rack for my frag tank. This is what i got so far after drilling the acrylic.

I think it looks pretty sweet.be able to hold plenty of corals .

Holy Holes!

As a fellow DIY'er, need details....did you use a jig....what bit did you use.

Nicely done!

And FYI, if you run a little Weld On on the cracks you have, they will bond back together.

What, what, what??? I don't think I could do that accurate of drilling with my drill press.....and you used a hand drill with a taper bit!!!

I'm impressed!

well i measure where i wanted the holes and put a mark, i sat down on a chair put 2x4 on the floor, place the acrylic on top and start drilling. thats all it took :)

Great project...really nice work.

Nice job!!! Looks professional!! I know you had fun drilling all those holes!!

trying to keep that drill still without putting more pressure on the drill was not fun. after awhile my hand get numb that drill got weight compare to the cordless one but gets the job done better than the cordless. i cracked more acrylic with the cordless than that drill

I really like it, looks pretty clean and plenty of areas for flow, what did you use to glue the sides? If you used any silcone make sure it don't have mold inhibitors in it .

i only use super glue then silicone so i can remove the legs easy and replace it if i decide to take the sand off the frag tank in the future

Takes a lot of natural skills to do that without a jig and do it evenly. :)

Awesome job! I concur with @redfishbluefish on the skills with the hand drill. If I had done that it would look more like a poorly designed connect the dot picture...definitely wouldn't be the uniform work of art you've got there.
