frag recovery time

That could vary...but when I frag mine, dip them and place back in tank, they open up with in minutes to 1/2 hrs.
but those are frags that are in my growing tank.

Frags I buy and have shipped, after dipping usually a few hours to overnight.

I was just curious how long from the time you frag off your colony, does the new frag open, mine seem to vary drastically depending on the polyp. I was practicing on eagle eyes because I have a huge colony of those, and I've moved into my emeralds on fire and rainbow infusions and wwc candy apple pinks. The rainbow infusions and emeralds on fire both seem like they won't open up until the next day or so. The candy apple pinks were a few hours and by the evening it was like nothing happened. I was just curious how long it took other people's to open and if there's anything I can do to make the healing time quicker. I have started to let the frags soak in some lugols while I'm fragging and that does seem to help

Healing time can't be rushed...mother nature at work.

But what I do is after dipping, I place them in area of lower flow and not under strong light for a few days.
