Hi , going to first frag show , should I expect to pay retail still? Are prices negotiable?

depends on each vendor.
prices do seem to drop as you get closer to closing time, so they don't have to pack it all back up.

In my experience, prices are better than shopping from a store, but not better than from a local hobbyist. However, some vendors are willing to negotiate deals.

As a Frag swap vendor myself it all depends on the swap more then anything. For example if it’s a show and I did well I’m more likely to deal more then a show I didn’t do well at. This also goes into play on how far the show is from me and my expenses hotel room and travel. Pack deals are always a option and the more you buy abs spend the better the deal this is all the time though. Also depends on the frag say if it’s only only frag or first frag cut I’m gonna be looking for top dollar or atleast what I paid for my original frag to get my money back. There are end of show deals though

Great responses , I didn't want to offend anyone by offering less than what they were asking for. But wasn't sure if they marked things up so you felt like you got a deal if they lower the price
