Frag Tank Advise....

Hi All,
I am interested in starting/ getting a small frag tank maybe 10-20 gal. Was looking for advise on a tank/system. I have looked at the JBJ rimless frag tank, the 12gal. nano cube next generation LED, and Innovative marine 10 gal. NUVO fusion nano aquarium premium starter kit. Was probably looking to have, soft corals, zoa, polyps, mushrooms and maybe some lps corals. Wondering what other people use. Thanks

Honestly you could just buy like a 20g long tank and save a lot of money and then use that money to buy corals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen to Shep, here's the frag set up I'm working on. Go to petco and by $30 worth of tanks, drill them for overflow and return, get a pump, skimmer, build a stand and your ready to go.

I spent a lot on my frag tank but thats just because I am moving and its going to be my main tank but if you just want something to grow spare corals in go with the cheaper option.

Thanks, I actually was thinking about that seeing petco is having their $1 per gallon sale. Buying more corals is the name of the game :bigsmile:

Yep, 20L Thinking about setting it up as a little different frag tank. May use flat cut rocks from marcos rocks to build shelves, then drill holes in the rock for the stems of frag plugs to fit in. That way I it looks more natural, I get to put more rock in the system, and it still functions as a frag tank.
