I have a couple leads out for a 48" by 20" by 12" frag tank but was wondering who you all suggest to build me one from glass or acrylic?

Trying to keep the cost down on this part of the new tank project! I really want a custom size like this.

Thanks.

Hey Man, what did you end up doing? I have an 80 that has about 100 frags and bunch of colonies that I'm transferring to a 525 XL BUT I've picked up and beat down everything from AEFWs to red bugs buying from so many different venders. My plan is to score a frag tank and use it initially for QT, cut the colonies off the rock, desiccate the rock completely and QT my existing corals for a couple of months and be very sure that everything is 100% pest free before adding to the new system. I would use the 80 but the silicone is starting to fray.

Cost vs size vs reliability of manufacture warranty..

If like altering system over time, not on huge end and wish to reconfigure more often from build threads...... Acrylic.
But don't scratch! If over nano sizes go glass, order plumbing one time.
If you k ow the holes you want and overall blueprint go glass and get all holes made one time. Can cap off for future improvements or tech advances!
