Whats a good online or local store to buy shallow frag tanks, material doesn’t matter for these, the cheaper the better, I’m assuming plastic would be cheapest? Thanks for any recommendations

Depends on the size. You can find 4’ tanks pretty cheap. Deep blue. Low boys ect. 6’+ is $

I guess I could wait for the 1$ a gallon sale at petco and get a couple 40 gallons tank to start.

It's just ABS plastic and it's used to grow food. So yeah, I would assume so.

The abs plastic is only 70% of it. It also doesn’t say anything about food grade of NSF. I would assume it is too, but would like to hear some other opinions from people. Definitely a cost worthy option for a lot of people if it’s good for reefs.

I do wonder how much they get you on shipping as it needs to be shipped freight.

All some good ideas thanks guys, gonna go buy home depot and take a look at there bins, all it needs to do is hold water.;)

It's made from ABS, the UV resistant ABS is the outer wrapping. If concerned the best thing to do would be contact the manufacturer. Yeah shipping would suck probably, if I was going to buy one I would find a local hydro store and buy it locally. It's what I was planning on using, but recently ended up moving to a smaller place and I just don't have the room anymore. Had to downsize from a 135 to a 37 gallon AIO. ;Facepalm

Yea I’d definitely contact them prior. I’m not saying you’re wrong, I just don’t know 100% that it is ya know.

:( downsizing would hurt my soul. I have 700gallons and want more. Haha

That looks like the worlds largest kitty litter box.

I’m sure there’s plenty of hydroponic stores her in SoCal to visit and look at the stuff.
