Frag tank help?

Hello. Not sure if this is entirely chemistry related but it has to do with biological filtration..

I’m looking to set up a new AIO 25g frag tank with aragonite. I would really like to stay away from occupying real estate in the tank with rock.

Any idea what i can use instead of live rock? loads of biological media in the sump?

Goal: House a sufficient amount of bacteria and keep nutrients under control for happier corals.

If you have sand in the tank you will have more then enough surface area
