Frag Tank Lighting - Bulb Choice?

I was thinking about using all ATI Blue+ Bulbs (4 total) over my frag tank.

Looking for growth and color, but something algae won't like

Any downside to using all ATI Blue+ bulbs?

Your gonna get algea with any bulb I'd do one purple Pluse three blue Pluse.

Yes I'll get some with any bulbs but hopefully
less with out the red spectrum of the white bulbs

interesting idea. I personally would use aquablue special, blue plus, fiji purpl, blue plus. be sure to post pix once you get it up and running thank.

It will be a blue look you won't Evan see the red. Blue Pluse has the best par and will make things pop the purple Pluse is to help bring out your reds pinks and I think greens too.

This is a Grow out system in my basement so it is not
something I will be really looking at like I do my display.

As it is now I have 9 white and 1 actinic bulb over it now, All T-12s
I did it as an experiment but now am going to build a new light for it.

While The T12's work the T-5s will draw less power and I can reuse the
T12 fixtures in my workshop so there is no loss there, so it is a win win

Things look very bland under the white bulbs now but when I throw
them in the display tank you would not even know it is the same frag.

Well hands down the best bulb for growth is the ati blue Pluse it has the most par out of them all more par.
