I am starting a small frag tank next to my 60 gallon cube. The dimensions are 20”L x 10”w x 8”H. I am leaning towards a hydra 26 to accommodate my 60cube. If anyone else has experience with small frag tanks please chime in. I know led gives off great color but I need my frags to stay healthy and growing while sitting in the frag tank.

I try and use the same lighting type (LED and halides) as my main system. That way, my corals will need less adjustment time when placed in the main display.

I also try and match PAR as best as I can. I try and get the corals used to what will be provided in the main tank

I keep a t5/led hybrid over my main display. It will be hard to find inconspicuous t5s for a 20” frag tank.
