I had a frag tank built 24x18x14 tall and need some suggestions on what kind of overflow to use. I considered putting an acrylic wall in about 4" from the back wall and then drilling the bottom with 2 holes. One for a return and one for some kind of silenced stand pipe. My problem is I want to maximize the available room and removing 4" of useable space is not desirable.

Any suggestions?

This frag tank is Rimless and glass and is being plumbed into my display tank (125g)

You can drill high up on the back wall in both or either corner, then use a short overflow box so you only lose the space from the upper portion of the tank rather than the bottom.
