Question for those with frag tanks.

1.) Do I need to put sand in the sump?
2.) The sump is 26-gallon frag tank 11 gallons how much rock?
3.) Do I need a wavemaker in a small 11-gallon frag tank or will return flow be enough?
4.) My return pump is listed below what would I need to connect 1/2 pvc to it? (I have 1/2 bulkheads already)
5.) The skimmer section is very small any suggestion on a very small skimmer?

1. You do not need sand.
2. I cant say for certain, but I would guess 20-35 lbs would be a good number to shoot for with rocks. I would check for another opinion on that. Another option is to use something like Brightwell bricks which take up far less room and have more surface area. Or a combination.
3. Depends on what you're keeping. I have that same pump in a 15g AIO and it isn't creating a ton of flow. Mushrooms and such may be happy, but other stuff not so much. Plus I have dead zones without my other powerhead.
