Frag Tank?

Just wondering if anyone runs a frag tank separately from their main tank with no live rocks. Just lights and tank

It's an all on one frag tank. My question is do you really need live rock to run a frag tank?

Nope you do not need rock as long as you keep up with water changes if you plan on feeding the coral

No, but you may benefit from some ceramic media like MarinePure in the AIO sump.

Depends on frag tank size and type of corals.....

I had for long time small 30l tank, only one hang on filter for circulation, with some fleece and sponge and little active carbon...... Fleece was cleaned every day-two, sponge once a week.

And a 10w 20000k led above....growth soft corals and anemone like crazy.....
