Starting with something nice and easy, zoas!
I fragged my eagle eyes, the green dragon ones..forgot the full name lol, pink panthers, another one that I need to get ID'd, and I'll be fragging a nice size colony of rastas soon.

Here's one of the eagle eye frags, I think they're turning out pretty good :D

I followed a few youtube guide just to make sure I wasn't missing anything important..But I honestly just used common sense.

Grab the rock that they're on, or plug. Find a nice seperated peice of the rock, or a polyp that is alone and has easy access to with bonecutters/blade.
Oh, and use an iodine supplement in the water container when you put the frags in, it prevents infection apparently. Afterwards, I just glued them onto a piece of rubble, then onto the plug. They were opening up within the hour when I put them back into the tank.

Good job, I'm as addicted to fragging as I am to this hobby.

Looking good, once you do a few it will be easy peasy! Just remember don't rush and cut away from you the last thing you want to do is slice into the polyp then into your hand. :) Good luck!

Your frags look Great!! I fragged my first Acan about 2 months ago since then ive done a few other Acans and Zoas.. The Iodine is Key! And as most know Palys and Zoas have a Toxin Called PALYTOXIN. so if you've never Fragged Zoas or Palys, I ALWAYS wear Gloves, . Cant be Too Safe. Glad your having Success in Fragging!! Makes Reef Keeping even More Enjoyable!!

I was going to say the same thing. Palytoxin is a dangerous toxin as it is the second deadliest in the world. It has been known to kill large dogs as well as make a person extremely sick. I have not heard of a human death due to palytoxin, but I have seen massive swelling and long hospital stays. I personally was sick for 3 days after acid bathing a bunch of rock that had some brown palys left on them. I just happened to be downwind and it caught me off guard...

But on to the fragging, your frags look nice. I like that you glued them to a small rock and the rock to the plug. It gives the buyer/trader he ability to remove the plug if they want to.
