I am setting up an acan dominated tank and my requirements for corals is 1.)easily fragable (which is the only issue I think with acans) 2.)very colorful (which bout every acan is)3.) I can feed it and see it eat (which is my favorite part of most lps).
But my main question is how would you frag the acans if it is covering the rock? I don't want to take the rocks out of the tank to frag the acans. So any way to frag that way or new corals all together I would like lots of colors but same coral.

There's no way to frag them on the rock without removing the rock. :( The skeleton of the acan will eventually grow on the rock making cutting really require something like a band saw etc.

If I remove the rock once I frag will it make the look of the rock look bad?
I would make sure you are picking smaller rocks for your acan garden. The rock will eventually look fine as coralline grows over whatever you cut.
