Fragging Corals of Big Rocks

New to this forum and after searching everywhere can't seem to find a good answer. My question is, How do you frag coral that is one a really big rock or on a piece of Rock that provides structural support to the rest of your rocks? Im assuming i can frag in the tank if i cant remove the rock. This question is for no particular coral, and I understand some coral will be a little more or less difficult to frag this way.

Yes , you would be able to frag in the tank.

Softies can be cut easily with nice sharp blade.

Branching and plating SPS is normally easy to frag with cutters depending on accessibility.

Some of the LPS might not be as easy . Pagoda,Turbinara ,brain,chalice etc come to mind as they are normally robust in growth.

Each situation would need to be evaluated on its own merits.

The Tank in particular to this subject will be Euphyllia Dominant, With some softies/Shrooms.
