I have a colony of about 13 Everlasting Gobstoppers. I would like to frag off a few polyps but dont want to kill anything. The problem is that they are not at all seperated on the frag plug, they basically all come together at a single foot. They are mostly all adult sized polyps, with long stalks. Any tips on cutting these? I would like to have a couple ready for the swap that is in 3 weeks.

Thanks!!!

Using a razor, I usually try to go 'Under' the 'Stalk' and peel the 'Encrusting' base of the colony. That way I can cut from the base, UP and preserve the integrity of the 'stalk'.

Then the usual rock/sand rubble in an examiniation container. Gluing to a plug won't happen till the very end.
