Fragging Hammers

Hello, I have a green hammer which is growing like crazy and wanting to frag some heads off. I do not have a dremal or bandsaw. Can i use bone cutters? Any other suggestions out there?

I use bone cutters as long as it's a good inch blow head.

Bone cutters will work but go as low as you can or you risk damaging the head

An oscillating cut off tool works very well.

I use them on branching hammer. It’s not going to leave a clean flat cut.
