I have a huge toadstool and i was wondering if I can cut it in half? Like cutting in half from the middle of the toadstool.
And also if i want to lower his height, can I cut the bottom (base) part, like chop it off a little bit so it can be less tall?
Someone help me please

Can I cut this coral in half? SKIP THIS VIDEO TO 2:27

This looks like a duplicate thread or maybe even a triplicate.

The general consensus is yes this type of Sarcophyton/Toadstool is easily fragged. They will slime after cutting, run new charcoal and or dip, place in mod to higher flow.

Yes yes yes, one of the easiest corals to frag, you can dang near cut the thing into hundreds of pieces and dump them into your tank. They find areas to settle and attach and then you'd have hundreds. If you cut the entire top off and split the top section in 2 you'all have 3 :). The base will slowly start extending new polyps.
