Fragging micromusa

hi, post pics ,so we can get a better idea "thickness" size :)

It had been done. I forget which show it was, either macna or reefapolooza, but their was class and a video on someone doing it. If you look on YouTube, I am sure it will be there.

Yeah i'm thinking of doing it with diamond wheel and using a razor blade to cut tissue.
I'm going to get the band saw eventually though.

Also for later when i get the bandsaw. Is it ok to cut the coral to make it less "thick"
Like horizontally if that makes sense?

For micromussas, you can cut off some of the skeletal structure at the base, just make sure not to cut up too far or you will harm the coral tissue.

You can use a dremel and a diamond wheel, but it's messy. If you have asthma, I don't recommend it; it's very easy to aerosolize particles via that method. Once you have a frag, the best way to deal with them is to make yourself a thin, flat epoxy disk to grow out a fragging colony. That way, you can just cut it with fragging tools when it gets big.
