Ok houston i have a win and a problem. The win is i can get my big boy toadstool out of the tank for fragging. BUTT i can not give him an iodine bath/dip once i cut him? I bought some read sea iodine. hes to big an im not buying 5 gallons of iodine. Lol. Can i just wash the cut area with iodine?

Secondly do i have to cut all the way around it? I will have toadstool for days if i do that. Or can i just lob off the encroaching sides? Ideas and advice

Hey there! Toadstools are super easy to frag. I never treat with iodine and they always turn out just fine for me. Just simply trim away the parts you need to trim. Don’t be scared!

Yup, toads are super easy. I have one in my nano and it frequently gets too big. I just chop the entire thing off at the base once a year and it always grows back. New polyps within a few weeks.

Just take a new razor and slice it off.
