Hi everyone,

A question or somewhat just looking for input. So I was thinking about fragging a number of different things, I have a dremel with plenty of dimaond blades, but my issue here is it's hard to handle with holding onto corals. I have a tike/wet saw but seeing it's a good saw I don't really want to use that one, but was thinking of getting the skil wet saw from lowes for $60, a lot cheaper than the inland or gryphon that I don't have the money for now. Is the tile saw a viable solution or will it cause too much damage?

It'll work but why not use bone cutters? They won't mangle as much tissue as a ~2mm thick blade will. Plus bone cutters will work underwater which I'd suspect woudl reduce some stress to the coral.

thanks, yes the bone cutters in some applictions definitely, but I have some different montis and others where a straight long cut is needed. with the table top tile saw I know it'll rust, but hoping that I can rinse most of it after each use to prolong its life, and the cheap saw is mostly constructed of plastic.
