Fragging the galaxea

Oh boy? It's as big as my face and my tanks as big as my head? Not! But what to do when your galaxea outgrows its spot!

Due to salt the pics of the process will be delayed until next time. When someone is here who is dry.

All I did was take the scissors and get a good grip on the center of te coral.

Press very hard and the coral will then snap in half in a not exactly precise manner, but it looks more natural and that's how they break in the wild in my non marine biologist knowledge.

Here are the results fresh after I dried my hands!

You can see the fresh break that is pure white.

Observe the low polyp break akin that edge, it seemed to want to break this way on its own and I'm fine with that!
