fragging zoa in tank

I have about a 9-10lb peice of rock that is pretty big i need to frag some bam bam zoas off of. the rock is one of the bottom peices to a structure and would stir up alot of things if i were to take it out. i really need to frag this colony down, would it be bad to frag this inside the tank?

No. I used to frag with no problems

I don't see any problems aside from it being hard to cut individual polyps. You can also add new carbon just in case you're concern about chemical being released when you're cutting.
