I have some large zoa rocks in my tank that I’d like to frag and move to another tank. The rocks aren’t able to be removed for fragging, so I’m wondering if it’s ok to cut zoas off while still in the tank? Are toxins a concern?
Thanks!

Yes you can, as long as your not going crazy cutting the polyp you should be good. I would definitely do a water change after

Great video, thanks! Fragging is something I find most confusing coming in from freshwater, so it's really helpful to see the whole process start to finish with explanations!
Anytime, yea it looks confusing but it is very easy. Softies and “Sticks” or Acros are the easiest to frag in my opinion but acans, favia, and any type of plate coral forget it.
