How do you frag GSP? Can I just get a scalpel and cut a portion off? And for Xenia - do you cut the entire stalk or a head and glue it on. Probably a really dumb question with an obvious answer, I think it is, and any help with understanding coral anatomy is appreciated

GSP can be ripped of the rock, torn, cut whatever; hard to kill. Xenia has the be cut by the stalk really. I never frag my xenia as it shrinks to about the 50th of a size when cut and sloughs off glue. Its much easier to let some grow onto a rock or plug then cut.

The easiest way I found to frag my pulsing Xenia is to scalpel as much as you can off and put it in a container with rubble rocks. They will attach to the rocks in a week or so. I was never successful grying to attach them to frags myself.

Gsp I only frag the ones growing like a mat on my sand bed. I just use a pair of sharp scissors to cut it. Then glue where I want it
