Frags covered in green hair algae

So I just got a great deal on a bunch of coral, mostly on small live rocks, but it's all covered in green hair algae. Should I just do my usual coral dip? Wil that kill it? Thanks!

A nice brushing with a toothbrush and H202 ^^^ and then the dip for pests should take care of the GHA. Post a before and after pic if you get a chance.

Will do! Is h202 just the regular peroxide I have in my bathroom? Does it need diluted? My other option is just too pull the corals off the rock but there's quite a few of then

I'd still dip them for pests after the peroxide dip for algae.

I use 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and try to avoid dipping the fleshy parts when removing algae and only focus on the frag plug if I’m not removing it and the corals exposed skeleton.. I will also dip my toothbrush periodically in undiluted hydrogen peroxide as I’m scrubbing off algae followed by a rinse in tank water before returning it to aquarium.

what's the peroxide solution concentration you use before you dilute it (3%,12%...)?

"Did my best to clean some green hair algae off of some new corals and figured my tangs would eat the rest. Unfortunately whatever my tangs nibble at the puffer has to try as well. Lost 2 candy cane heads"

what is the final h2o2 concentration you used and for how long you dipped the coral?

Pretty gutsy to dip the entire frag . I use soft tip toothbrush dipped with bery diluted solution and brush . Then do it again if algae is still there on the next water change
