So I gave up on glue and went to tiny soft latex rubber bands and they seem to be meshing better with the corals. Now I'm starting to get a collection of frags ready to send to new homes.
Now I just gotta set up a website. :/

I've been using the smallest size zip tie- cut off the excess tie and glue to plug. Sounds odd but works great for firmer softies. Soft ones I let settle on rubble.

Needle and thread. I also use plastic mesh bags that oranges come in. Place your drag on a small piece of rock. Wrap with mesh just tight enough to keep the cut base in contact with the rock. The secure mesh with rubber band. Works like a charm, even if the coral grows around the mesh there usually is no problem.

Thanks. I will have to try that ;)
