So I am starting my cycle with Dr. Tims One & Only Live Nitrifying Bacteria

and Im going to document how it works, because I am a [FONT=Lucida Sans, Lucida Grande, Lucida Sans Unicode, sans-serif]skeptic[/FONT].... has anyone used it?

8/28 Day one added one and only and ammonium chloride.

It has been 48 hrs since I started the one and only dr tims and I have no nitrite but about .25 part ammonia... so im going to dose ammonium chloride again to get up to 2 part. Then I have to wait another 48rs and test again.

I tested last night and I had a half a part of ammonia, I will test tonight and hopefully its at 0.

The light build

Hey guys I have come to the next part of the build... this tank needs some light! Rapid LED sent me over the Aurora puck kit:bigsmile: Now I just need to figure out how it all goes together!

livestock

Finally going to add some little animals to the tank! Im going down to Love the Reef they are somewhat close to me. I ordered a tailspot, lots of sexy shrimp and I think some gsp. Not sure what else until I see his shop....any suggestions?

Keep the thread alive, you are making the right decision in the best interest of the future inhabitants. i've rushed a few pieces of SPS into tanks before and had losses i'm not wanting to have ever again.
